Who was this saviour of all things Canadian? Why it’s the new Captain Canada, Mark Carney. How’s the boy done? Well, Super Mark was cut down to size immediately after taking power by Donald J Trump. He of the three “B’s”. That would be bully, belligerent and brash, and they’re his good qualities!
Mark, get your elbows back up, put your big boy pants on and get back into the ring. It has been said that, “Politics is a blood sport.” I think our guy direly needs a blood transfusion.

So let me get this straight: A woman who left Canada to join ISIS and participated in terrorist group activities is given a one-day jail sentence (in addition to 110 days served in pre-trial custody) and probation for three years? The bleeding heart Canadian justice system feels recidivism will not be an issue. It is obvious they got scammed by the suddenly innocent terrorist saying she is sorry.

And then we have two convoy protest organizers, Chris Barber and Tamara Lich, who could be facing sentences of eight and seven years, respectively. Seems a little extreme in comparison, but that is how our justice system works.

WHAT ABOUT HUNT CLUB?
Re: Ring road out as Ottawa council OK’s transportation master plan, online, July 23
I’m surprised they aren’t considering converting Hunt Club Road into a new ring road. It hooks up to Highway 417 before entering Ottawa, bypasses the entire core and would exit on Highway 416. All you need are approximately eight overpasses over the main arteries and a few off-ramps, and, voilà, a ring road is complete.
